TCHS Lions on the Basketball court

The 2024 / 25 basketball season has been a great one for the TCHS Lions! Both of our Senior Varsity (SV) and Junior Varsity (JV) Men's and Women's teams have competed in the Deep South Basketball league

Our Boys program continues to grow and improve as our Senior Varsity team finished its regular season with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses and the team went on to win the Consolation final! The boys team made the finals and finished 2nd in both the zone and 1A provincial tournament. Fantastic season boys!

Our girls teams are combined teams as athletes from St Mary's high school have joined Taber Christian as the host school. Our Senior Varsity girls finished the regular season with a record of 5-2. Our SV girls took third place in the league, winning a 'back and forth' contest over Stirling High school. The girls went on to finish 2nd in zones and 3rd in the 2A provincial tournament. Outstanding!

Thanks to all the coaches and volunteers who played a big role in team success and of course a huge note of thanks to the players on thier accomplishments. To our seniors, thanks for your efforts in creating a new standard for Lions athletics....Go Lions!
