TCHS Lions on the Basketball court

The 2024 / 25 basketball season has been a great one for the TCHS Lions! Both of our Senior Varsity (SV) and Junior Varsity (JV) Men's and Women's teams have competed in the Deep South Basketball league

Our Boys program continues to grow and improve as our Senior Varsity team finished its regular season with a record of 5 wins and 4 losses as the team enters playoffs their zone basketball tournament. Our SV boys won the Deep South league consolation final in a hard fought game over Prairie Winds high school.

Our girls teams are combined teams as athletes from St Mary's high school have joined Taber Christian as the host school. Our Senior Varsity girls finished the regular season with a record of 5-2. Our SV girls took third place in the league, winning a 'back and forth' contest over Stirling High school.

Both SV teams will compete in the South Zone Tournament (March 13 - 16) at Lethbridge College. and are looking strong as they head into their zone tournament (and hopefully provincials!).
