Ms. Gaby Castaneda

My name is Gaby Castaneda and I am one of the new Educational Assistants. I'm excited to meet and get to know everyone this year! I'm passionate about helping others and enjoy helping people learn.
I graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Immunology and Infection. Outside of that, I live with my family and our two dogs (both Yorkies). In my spare time,
I enjoy playing with our dogs, baking, reading books, playing video games, watching/reading anime/manga, and traveling. I also enjoy learning more about different cultures, trying out different cuisines, as well as learning languages. Currently, I speak Tagalog (Filipino) and English fluently, and I'm learning French and Japanese. I look forward to meeting everyone and the new school year!
